This program is great for every subject except for anatomy and physiology. It absolutely helps with math. The lessons on anatomy and physiology themselves are informational. However, the practice exams and lesson quizzes do not resemble what you need to know on the 2020 HESI A2 in anyway. The practice exams do not go into depth or ask the specific enough questions that the HESI exam does. This is good for a general knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

I had no idea I had to take this exam to enter into my school’s nursing program. When I found out I had to take it, I had to take it right away. I purchased this boost prep course. I worked through all the sections and took the practice exams. Found the information to memorize for math VERY HELPFUL. Also the nursing vocabulary is very important to brush up on. The boost prep course was a great review of all the material needed for the exam. The format of the actual exam was the same as the boost prep format. They gave me 4 hours to take the exam and I was finished in 2 hours and 20 minutes. I got a 94%. My school did not require the Biology and Anatomy exams so I did not purchase those courses.

Every section INCLUDED in this program was absolutely amazing and full of every single thing I needed. My only complaint is the lack of other science information as my HESI included biology/chemistry as well as Anatomy/Phys. but there were no review materials in the program for that. Granted, it doesn’t claim to include any of that either. Just want to make it clear that this was not an all-encompassing HESI review. I had to do a bit of other independent study for that but overall I scored extremely high thanks to the materials provided and I would recommend this with the warning that it does not include much bio/chemistry

I felt rushed, and the way my brain works I cannot be rushed. plus I missed out on the first three months, am now and the extended period because I thought once I purchased it, it would be mine forever, just like buying the book. I took the Hesi A2 before I found boost prep and failed miserably. Everyone has different learning styles, so this program should be at least for a year for a slow learner like myself. Found a few errors in the quiz section of math. there may be errors in other sections as well.
Ex. Question: Kenny is making pillow cases. He has 2 1⁄5 yards of fabric and each pillow case takes 1 2⁄10 yards of fabric. How many pillow cases can he make?
Answer: 11
Answer given by boostprep: The correct answer is 1 5⁄6. Convert both fractions to improper form, then take the reciprocal of the second fraction and multiply it by the first fraction: 11⁄5 × 10⁄12 = 110⁄60, which simplifies to 11⁄6, which is 1 5⁄6 in proper form.

The question and answer you pointed out may be unrealistic but it is correct. This is a free response question, and it appears that you entered in 11 for an answer, when the answer is supposed to be 1 5/6 which is detailed in the response.
