The CNA skills test is a portion of the exam where you will have to demonstrate your ability to complete different CNA skills.
You will be asked to complete 5 different tasks, but you will not know which ones you will be asked. You will have 30 minutes to complete the tasks.
It is important to note that:
- Handwashing is a skill given by all states
- Indirect care is very important to know as it will be used for most skills (indirectly)
- Recording a measurement is a very common skill asked
- Some states may use a mannequin while other states may use an “actor”
Brush up on the various CNA skills by reviewing each one.
